Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken hearts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Clean the chicken hearts by removing any excess fat and membranes, then rinse thoroughly.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the garlic and onion to the skillet, sautéing until fragrant and the onion becomes translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  • Add the chicken hearts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  • Sprinkle the smoked paprika and cumin over the chicken hearts, stirring well to coat evenly.
